Getting into the Holiday Spirit.....

We spent last weekend on a fun and adventurous road trip.  We were in Southern Poland with one of Tom's teams on Friday - Sunday at a family team building event.  The event was held in a 15th century castle that has been converted into a hotel.  It was so much fun meeting Tom's team members' families. And, Finn loved the swimming pool in the hotel.

Sunday morning we took off for some Christmas market fun!  We went to Wroclaw, Poland for the evening and then spent the next two days in Dresden, Germany!  We were so excited to spend this time with Tom's cousin Meghan and her cousin, Katie.  It was great to be able to explore these gorgeous cities with these ladies!  And, the Christmas markets in Europe are always so gorgeous and really help you get "into the Christmas spirit".  After our fill of gluwein and sausages it was time to head back to Warsaw.  All in all, Finn was a little rockstar traveler and did great!  Let's hope the five hour car ride was good practice for our upcoming 10 hour flight back to the U.S.

So much to be thankful for this year.....

Finn's First Haircut

Right after Finn turned 7 months old we took him in for a much overdue hair trim.  Finn was blessed with a beautiful head of hair at birth that has only continued to grow and grow.  After we started getting stopped daily on the Polish buses with women telling Finn "what a beautiful girl" he was we knew it was time!  We just had the back trimmed up to get rid of the length.
