We decided to take Finn to one of our most favorite and special places...the eternal city, Rome! As most of you know Tom and I met when we were both studying in Rome and then later got engaged there as well. Such a special place....we loved getting to take Finn there and be back in a city that we love so much! We got lucky with some nice sunny weather and not too many crowds. We spent our days meandering the streets and sights of Rome, taking in our favorite sites and simply enjoying being there. We walked and walked and walked some more...stopped for coffee in piazzas and gave Finn his first tastes of pizza and gelato. We hit up our favorites - Piaza Navona, Camp de Fiori, The Colosseum, The Vatican, Piazza del Popolo, Castel San Angelo, The Forum, Villa Borghese and more....We were fortunate to find a couple reputable babysitters so Tom and I were able to get out for romantic and delicious dinners in the evenings. Finn was an amazing little traveler and was pretty flexible and easy going! It was such a great time and we were so thrilled to be able to share such a special place with Finnegan!
