Noc Muzeum

We spent Saturday night taking part in "Noc Muzeum" which translates to Night of the Museums.  This is an annual event that takes place in all of the major cities in Poland where all of the museums, art galleries and palaces are open to the public from 8pm - 2 am completely for free.  It is such a cool concept and it was awesome to see and feel the energy throughout the city.  The lines for the museums were really really long, so we opted to check out the art galleries that were a lot easier to get in and out of.  We had a fun time and enjoyed exploring more of the city with great friends.
And, we figure that we will be checking out most of the museums when our visitors are here.  Speaking of, my parents will be here in less that two weeks!  We are so excited!

Awesome Thing About Living in Europe # 9

Awesome Thing About Living in Europe #9:  European's love of dogs!

Charlie looking cool for summer in Warsaw

European LOVE their dogs!  This has made Charlie a very happy pup.  He is always getting smiles, pets and love from random strangers in the park.  It is quite funny and cute to watch.  When I took him to a local cafe to get a cup of coffee last week an older women loved Charlie so much that she gave him half of her croissant.  He really loved her!  In addition to loving dogs some of the health and safetly regulations are different here so we can take Charlie to pretty much any restaurant with us.  It's so nice to take him to the outdoor beer gardens in Old Town on the weekends.  In the past, we sometimes felt guilty leaving him home on the weekends but now we can all go out an enjoy the city!
