When we decided to go back to the states for Thanksgiving we knew we would be back in Poland for the month of December. We were excited to spend the holiday season in Warsaw to experience what it is like. We made the most of the season spending December enjoying the decor, holiday markets and more in Warsaw and around Europe! Here is a bit of how we spent our time!

We spent an afternon baking Christmas cookies with friends. Did you know gingerbread, aka Piernik, is a traditional Polish holiday cookie. |

On what we think was the coldest night in Warsaw we ventured out to the Christmas markets. But, first made a stop at Tom's favorite Milk Bar for Piwo (beer) and Kielbasa. |
