Well, Charlie and I have survived the great Chicago Blizzard of 2011. We left the condo last night to take cover at my friend Lauren's house. With 15-25 foot waves predicted off of the lake we were pretty concerned about waves/ice potentially breaking through our windows. Thankfully, the waves never got quite that large. We had a wonderful time spending some unexpected quality time with great friends. We ordered in pizza and hung out and relaxed. Today we spent the day watching people try and shovel out their cars and went out to play in the snow. Charlie totally loved it, but could barely walk in it it was so high. Many thanks to the Gray Family for letting us crash at their place!
